This work was made in 2020, it was part of a Masters project I was doing at Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen.

It is one of 6 works made during this time.

It is in dialogue with what I was interested in at that time, the Dusseldorf School of Photography and the works of Jeff Wall served as a form of inspiration.

I regard to narrative storytelling I wanted to focus on making singular images rather than multiples. This was a reaction to digital culture and the mass production of media as a form of communication.

"River Dee" is a combination of around 17 digital photographs which I have combined to form one final image.
