35mm Colour photographs that document a two week period from my time in Paris, made early 2021.

Coincidentally or maybe serendipitously a red pattern appears throughout this film roll. Small fragments of red grow more explicit when I do a portrait session on a evening spent in Paris' 15th arrondissement. The camera which I had used only sparingly until this point had a significant light leak, caused by a crack in the bottom casing. So I was astonished when I got the negatives back from the lab.

My favourite image is the one with the two cars. We see an old Mercedes leaving the frame and then a modern car creeps into view, a great light leak (red streak) forms a partition between the two machines separating the past from the future almost.
